High School Planning Guide El Plan de Estudios de las Escuelas Secundarias The basic program for graduation requires twenty-two credits. Each credit reflects a full year of coursework. Arcadia's college bound students are advised to complete four years of English, Math and Science, three years of Social Studies and at least three years of a foreign language. 90% of our students continue their education after graduation.
Arcadia's college bound students are advised to complete four years of English, Math and Science, three years of Social Studies and at least three years of a foreign language. 90% of our students continue their education after graduation. Students are also required to meet standards in math, reading and writing as measured by the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS). Arcadia offers Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) coursework in all curricular areas. A detailed list of Honors and AP courses is available in the School Profile.
SSR is a period of uninterrupted silent reading. All Arcadia classrooms observe the SSR period during 3rd hour. |
